A visit to the tree farm !
I woke up Sunday morning and had that warm and fuzzy feeling of...well... CHRISTMAS !
It's that time of year again ! Christmas tree hunting !
Nothing says Christmas, like a real pine tree !

Every year, since moving to London, my husband and I - along with his family, venture to Ilderton to hand pick a beautiful Christmas tree ! This was the first year with no snow and it wasn't the same, but still great to get out and keep the tradition alive.
I, of course, brought my camera and snapped some shots that I couldn't wait to get home to edit and finalize, after many hours spent decorating the tree with my husband and our little man !
This was my munchkin's first visit to the tree farm, all bundled up, but was passed out in a deep sleep.
Next year, he'll be 1.5 yrs and will be able to experience the tradition to the max ! Wagon rides, hot chocolate and all !
Here are some of the shots from the day. I love real Christmas trees.

We're building a collection of trunks from each tree we cut down.
We have 2008's stump and will add this year's to the collection. Another reason why I could never buy an artificial tree again. ( not to mention they are worse for the environment. )

That's the tip of our tree - hard to believe that it's home is now our living room.
