The greatest gift. | Toronto maternity newborn baby photographer

It really is the greatest gift. A baby. There's nothing more magical than a baby. The whole experience is so amazing, waiting 9 months for someone you have yet to meet, and then you love them so much, instantly.

It makes all the struggles of pregnancy so very worth it. :)

Meet Little "O" and his mommy and daddy. He wasn't having much of the whole thing - but I still managed to get a great shot of him on my new antique rocking horse! Kids will be kids... so I've learned, but hey - that's the beauty of it! He was so happy to finally be done with it and eat his yummy popcorn. I can't blame him - it looked delicious.

"B" was not only great company during our session, but she was a beautiful model too! I will see her back for her newborn session when I will finally get to use my new barnwood rug and wooden crate!

Well hello, Baby "L." | Toronto newborn baby child maternity photographer

This is baby "L", and what a cutie he is ! At 3 weeks old, he was such a great little sleeper for our session and I was so pleased to see that he managed to pull off some of those oh-so sleepy poses that are normally mastered by most 7 day olds. He was such a pleasure to photograph and I was so glad to see an old friend, his mother, from high school.

"C" just adores her baby boy.

On that note, have I mentioned before, how much I love my job? I thought so. :)

How could I NOT love, working with babies and their beautiful mommas?

It also give me the time I crave, to be with my own little man at home and watch him grow.

This flexibility is what I have always dreamed of - balancing my dream job with my adored family.

And here I am, the new me - with my own website, blog, prime lens and very own dedicated studio space! I LOVE my new studio - I love the natural light it provides, I love the space I have to work with, and I love how it is covered with my most favorite specialty product I offer, canvasses !

This is going to be a great year!

Last week I had a wonderful maternity session, with a good friend who is due very soon.

I am bursting with anticipation- boy or girl? We shall soon see !

I had a great time with "P" and her little spunky 4 year old, "A". What a nice round belly she has ! I am excited for the spring to arrive, so the maternity sessions can head to the outdoors with fresh air, flowers, and bright blue skies !

Meet Baby "O." | Toronto, London newborn baby child maternity photographer

I had the lovely pleasure of photographing this little delight last week, who at the time, had just turned 4 days new !
She was the apple of her mother's eye.

I must say, she was a photographer's delight, shooting off some great little smiles, letting me know that she was doing just fine at her first official photography shoot !

This little beauty had 50 amazing proofs - how ever will mom choose?!

Thanks R - for a fabulous shoot and I hope you love your images as much as I loved taking them for you ! You have a beautiful baby girl on your hands. Enjoy every minute - they do grow so fast. :)
